When Lily learns the truth about her mother, she thinks,
“Knowing can be a curse on a person’s life. I’d traded in a pack
of lies for a pack of truth…” (255).
YOU:
Do you know this feeling/is it true? Can you relate to what Lily is going through? Can it be better to never know the truth? How/Why?
LILY:
How is Lily coping with this
knowledge? What is she feeling now?
Personally, I cannot relate to what Lily is going through right now. I feel That eventually you have to know the truth to complete the missing parts in the story. The story of someone's life is very important and influences a person's judgement on someone. At first Lily is overwhelmed with all of this new information about her mom and is having trouble thinking straight. After it sinks in she understands her mom a lot more than she did before
