Do you think August was surprised when Lily asked her about Deborah, or do you think August knew that Lily is Deborah's daughter?

    I am under the impression that August knew who Lily was the second she showed up at their house. She knew all along she was Deborah's daughter.

    I agree with Farmer. I think August was just waiting for the right time to tell Lily that she knew her mother.
